Colorful European Table Linen » From Sea to Table

Colorful European Table Linen from Garnier Thiebaut During renovations following hurricane Katrina, the Beau Rivage Resort Hotel in Biloxi, Mississippi, took the opportunity to make significant upgrades to the décor throughout the hotel, including their room service napery. Garnier-Thiebaut’s Noe Acqua pattern linen, a lustrous damask woven with a seascape pattern of fish and other sea creatures swimming around the border, inspired and became the transforming element of that redesign.

“We wanted to bring into the hotel what you see when you look out the window: the Gulf of Mexico,” says George Goldhoff, vice president of F&B. “The color palette, design elements, and mood created by the newly designed room package were inspired by [Noe Acqua’s] nautical, ocean theme,” he adds.

“The ocean-inspired, nautical linen pattern enabled us to weave the fabric of the entire resort together with the satin banded seafoam green napkins and the sea-inspired tablecloths,” he says.

Goldhoff is impressed by the durable yet elegant Garnier-Thiebaut napery. “I feel that whenever you invest in quality, you are never disappointed. You can feel the quality of [Garnier-Thiebaut napkins] in their weight, softness, high thread count, and the richness of their color and texture,” he observes.

“The [Noe Acqua] ocean-themed table linen pattern presents the personality of the resort versus just a plain white tablecloth,” Goldhoff adds. “It complements the resort décor, and the added color gives it a unique feel.”

Garnier-Thiebaut’s fine hotel napery, offers creative linen styles, designs and colors. The refined, often custom, linen pattens along with the rich colors and high thread count of Garnier-Thiebaut napery will put an end to white tablecloth boredom.--AV
