Phillip Mancini, owner of Michael’s on East Catering, has found a product line and company he values with Silk Road Gathering and their line of hammered silver bowls, platters, and trays.
Mancini chose Silk Road Gathering’s products because “not only are they upscale, contemporary, and unique in their design, but they have lasting durability. To get both in one is hard to find.”
Michael’s on East Catering has been in service for 25 years. The firm caters over 2,500 parties a year. They’ve been using Silk Road Gathering products for about a year now and have been “amazed by their durability.” As Mancini points out, “the stuff looks just as good today as it did the day I bought it. I’ve never seen a product as durable as this. When you work in the catering industry, trays and bowls get abused, but these don’t bend and don’t break.”
Mancini was also drawn in by the unique style of the products. “The designs are fabulous. I have so many people ask about the trays, looking to buy them. And it’s because you take them into the home and set it up on the table, and it speaks for itself and presents the food beautifully.”—CS
