Robinson at the recently opened Hyatt
Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center, has
an undeniably fresh perspective on the huge
challenges of opening a facility. "We were so
busy," Robinson says, "we were just running." Prior
to the December 20, 2005, inauguration, one week
alone included the arrival of many tons of equipment.
From the word "go," Southern Aluminum's Alulite folding
tables and chairs made their presence appreciated. "We faced
the delivery of over 1,900 tables including 30-inch by 6-foot tables,
72-inch rounds, as well as schoolroom and decorative tables–everything they make–
and yet we were unpacked and setting up in just hours. Remember–1,900 tables,"
Robinson says. "Southern Aluminum's reps stayed and helped out for the whole
week. They were amazing."
The Hyatt's staff strongly favors Southern Aluminum, too. "At what feels like a
quarter of the weight of standard wooden products, the Southern Aluminum tables
allow for quicker set times, as well as less stress and strain on the employees.
We've already done many 15-minute turns in the convention rooms, and the staff just
loves them."
In addition to Southern Aluminum's obvious devotion, Robinson reports the tables
came "at a really good price and with a pretty incredible 15-year warranty."–BM
