The Hilton Americas-Houston began a purchasing program and bottled water
program with Nestlé Waters in 2003. It was the beginning of a partnership.
Joni Woltkamp, director of purchasing for the Hilton Americas-Houston,
remarked that the relationship has “harnessed a commitment to each other
to offer the best quality.”
Nestlé Waters is among North America’s largest hotel bottled water vendors.
Their portfolio includes S. Pellegrino, Acqua Panna, Perrier, Poland Spring,
Ice Mountain, Ozarka, Arrowhead, Deer Park, Zephyrhills, and Pure Life brands.
Nestlé Waters has been there for the hotel in good times and bad. Just after
Hurricane Katrina, the property needed an unprecedented amount of bottled
waters for their stranded guests.
“They did an outstanding job helping with Katrina,” says Woltkamp. “They made
sure the distributor was fully prepared. It didn’t matter how much water I
needed, it was there for us.” Over a two week period Woltkamp ordered about
60 cases of water, and there was never an issue with delivery.
Woltkamp adds, “They’ve always done everything we’ve asked of them.”
