Luxury French Table Linens » Pines Finds Fine Linens
When the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines (Texas) Resort and Spa opened in June,
it had already found the recipe for success by selecting table linens that
complement the natural beauty and colorful history of the Austin area.
Garnier-Thiebaut's top-of-the-line table linens are being used at the
500-room resort’s eight diverse F&B outlets because of their depth of
styles and vibrant colors, quality, customization options, and service,
says Susan Santiago, corporate F&B director, Chicago-based Hyatt Hotels.
The hotel company had already successfully worked with Garnier-Thiebaut
in a handful of hotel openings.
“Garnier-Thiebaut is perceived as a high-profile, high-value product.
We will look to them for future openings,” Santiago says. ‘As a company,
Hyatt is moving the needle as far as possible for presentation and F&B,
and that includes linens.”
The new resort selected what Santiago describes as the “Lost Pines” pattern
because it resembles the tree bark of a loblolly pine, native to this
geographic area. They also have chosen table runners instead of tablecloths
to differentiate themselves and complement the wood tables, such as the
wildwood tabletop in Stories, the fine dining restaurant.
The two companies also worked together to create a pattern exclusively for
Hyatt’s use, another way to distinguish the worldwide chain, Santiago adds.
Since 1830, Garnier-Thiebaut has been creating luxury table linens in the Les Vosges region of France, an area renowned for its textile production. Garnier-Thiebaut French table linens, including tablecloths, napkins, table runners, and placemats, are known for their rich colors, durable fabrics, and intricate patterns with a touch of whimsy. Woven in jacquard damask, Garnier-Thiebaut European linen has a fine, elegant sheen, yet is very sturdy and the colors do not fade. These European table linens come in a variety of sizes to fit most tables, and custom services are available.
