Chocolate Fountains » Chocolate: Drink of the Gods
In 1519, the ill-fated Montezuma attempted to placate
the Spanish conquistador Hernan Cortez
(who was believed to be a god) by serving him
chocolate in golden goblets.
Four centuries later, this ancient tradition of drinking
chocolate is not only available to the masses, it
has been improved upon in the form of chocolate
fountains. Buffet Enhancements is a factory-direct supplier
of chocolate fountains and accessories such as
chocolate fountain specialty tables, fountain toppers,
chocolate fondue fountains, and chocolate spouts.
According to Dennis Fletcher, director of
marketing, the distinction of their popular chocolate
fountains is "eye appeal and customer interaction.
Presentation is everything in the hospitality business," he says. "If it
doesn't catch your eye and draw you in, it doesn't matter how good the
food is-it won't sell."
Recently added to the company's repertoire is the Buffet
Enhancements Chocolate ShotT drinking chocolate dispenser that produces
"a cup of seduction." Designed like an espresso machine, the
Chocolate ShotT mixes a cup of liquid dark chocolate enriched with
Dutch cocoa powder and "produces a consistent cup every time."
Buffet Enhancements also supplies hotel buffet decor and accessories,
including water walls, seafood displays, lighted ice carving displays,
among other buffetware.--ABA, KB
