What comes to mind when you think about frozen exotic drinks? Vacation,
relaxation, warm breezes and . . . tropical cocktails. Hoteliers are using
Rich’s Bahama Blast frozen drink mixes to create mixology magic.
Just ask Josh Leibowitz, director of food and beverage, Hilton Garden Inn,
Pensacola, Florida. Leibowitz was sold on Rich’s Bahama Blast when he experienced
the amount of real fruit in the product. His facility currently operates both indoor and
outdoor bars, often crowded with customers awaiting frozen concoctions.
Three fantastic advantages to Bahama Blast real fruit cocktail and smoothie
mixes are “shelf stability, real fruit taste, and the drink stays frozen while you
drink it,” explains Leibowitz. How often do you order a frozen piña colada and
halfway through, it has morphed into a pool of semi-frozen slush? He emphasizes
that Rich’s Bahama blast stays frozen much longer and gives the customer a consistent taste experience.
Bahama Blast cocktail and smoothie mixes are made with real fruit concentrates. Mixes are shelf stable for
180 days (unopened) and 21 days opened under refrigerated conditions.
Rich’s history extends 60 years, back to 1945, when founder Robert E. Rich developed a frozen whipped product
out of soybeans. Over the years Rich’s expanded their product line in the frozen dessert market. They continue their
high standards with Bahama Blast.--KB
