John Sloane, beverage operations manager
for the nine bars and lounges at
the Woodloch Pines Resort, Hawley,
Pennsylvania, says he's tried just about
every liquor pouring measurement system
on the market.
"Precision Pours liquor pours give
the same amount all the time so guests get
a consistent drink," Sloane says. "They last forever,
are virtually indestructible, always look clean
and nice, are accurate and low maintenance."
Precision Pours liquor pours also have eliminated
the need for shot glasses.
"Guests don't know they're getting a measured shot,"
Sloane says. "Precision Pours looks sharp on the bottle
and on the bar."
The 3 Ball Liquor Pours are found throughout the
resort while the Rack & Pour Liquor Dispensing System
is used poolside, Sloane says.
Sloane also appreciates Precision Pours' market
savvy. "They're in tune with what's going on in the industry,"
he says.
Rick Sandvik, president, Precision Pours, Plymouth,
Minnesota, estimates that Precision Pours' liquor pours
have saved beverage operators over $400 million, a figure
that grows nearly $60 million a year, because two to four
drinks per bottle aren't wasted using portion control.
But even more important than dollar savings, human
lives have been saved through portion control, Sandvik says.--SBH
