Alulite banquet tables that have been serving dignitaries and
heads of state at the White House through several administrations
are available to the hospitality market, including their
newest entry, the MardiGras Table.
Southern Aluminum Manufacturing Inc. of Magnolia, Arkansas,
introduced new table "technology" that uses high-strength, aircraftgrade
aluminum; supports 3,000 pounds of tested weight; and
takes any abuse heaved on its corners, folding legs, and table top,
explains Mark Taylor, president & CEO.
"The hotel industry now has a choice of investing in better hotel
folding banquet tables that are significantly lighter than plastic, with more durability and priced competitively against lesser-quality tables," Taylor says.
Because lightweight hotel tables weigh less than plastic, plywood, or steel banquet tables, less labor is
required for setup and the potential for work-related injuries is reduced, Taylor points out.
In addition to competitive pricing, cost savings are realized because MardiGras Tables are designed to
accommodate either 3/4-inch or 1-inch skirt clips that hotels commonly stock. The 15-year warranty also offers peace of mind that capital can be earmarked for other purchases, Taylor adds.
Southern Aluminum also gives back to the community, donating tables to the Federal Emergency
Management Agency for disaster relief efforts, Taylor shares.--SBH
