Milliken hotel table linen Even when you generate $16 million annually in F&B revenue, pennies count.

Pat Ciaccio, F&B director, Saddlebrook Resort Tampa in Wesley Chapel, Florida, says he switched to Signature by Milliken hotel linen in April 2004, making Milliken hotel napery his exclusive purveyor.

"I am bottom-line conscious," Ciaccio says. "But for pennies more, you get an upgraded product. The durability of Milliken hotel linen is amazing." Ciaccio also is impressed with the absorbency and colorfastness he requires to serve 85,000 square feet of banquet space, an upscale steakhouse, and another four F&B outlets.

In addition to discovering the attributes of the Signature series, Ciaccio says he made several other discoveries while attending Milliken's annual Hotel F&B Forum.

"Spending time at the Milliken plant was invaluable," Ciaccio says. "Milliken places as much emphasis on the back-of-the-house as the front-of-the-house that the consumer sees."

Milliken's forums and seminars, including the yearly Hotel F&B Forum, are available to customers at no charge. This four-day gathering explores new F&B market trends, promotes networking, and provides the arena to learn from F&B leaders and peers. The 2005 event will be held May 14-17 at Milliken's Spartanburg, South Carolina, headquarters.
