STANDING ALL DAY AT A TRADESHOW OR TWO either gives one a new appreciation and perspective on seating or reinforces long-standing opinions.
Cindy Gasser, VP, sales, Gasser Chair Company, Youngstown, Ohio, says existing
and prospective customers confirm that "seating has to perform. It has to be part of creating that bottom line."
Her recent travels have underscored that high-quality and high-comfort go hand-in-hand. According to Gasser,
customers are demanding products that 1) eliminate high-maintenance and the liabilities that often go with breakage,
2) make money for them by creating a friendly/gathering-place atmosphere where patrons can enjoy food,
entertainment, games, as well as beverages, 3) are comfortable, encouraging guests to sit and stay, rather than
hurry up and leave, and 4) have value, should they decide to renovate and want to trade in some time in the future.
"The trend is definitely high-quality, period," Gasser says.
Regardless of whether hospitality and entertainment clients need tables or booths, chairs or barstools, all
Gasser products are of the highest quality.
"We manufacture everything we design and market," Gasser says.
Gasser's product lines include their KL Series, featuring ergonomic seating design to provide more customer
comfort. -SBH
