POP-OUT® Roses are simple, yet elegant, eliminating the need for chefs to carve or pipe butter. "It takes the work out of the back room," Peters says. "Our trademarked Roses add to the artistic display when the table is set. Three to five different rose designs are on a butter plate at any given time." Butterball® also is known for EZ Serve® pats and custom designs. One of Peters' favorite customized logos "pushed the design team" due to its intricate nature, incorporating four distinct elements: setting sun, ocean, palm tree, and waterfall.
"Butterball's customized oval-shaped butter with our star person logo gets a lot of attention from guests," says Executive Chef Richard Rexroat of Aramark at the Phoenix Civic Plaza. "It's a subtle way to put fluff into a dinner, often for 3,000 to 4,000 people. Identically produced and convenient to use, it's also a perfect way to advertise our company because it's always on the table."
